These cheesy pepperoni pizza bombs are the perfect combination of savory, cheesy, and buttery goodness, all wrapped up in a soft dough. Whether you’re enjoying a cozy night in or hosting a fun party, these pizza bombs are sure to be a hit. With gooey mozzarella and flavorful pepperoni, they bring all the best parts of pizza into a bite-sized treat that’s perfect for dipping!

Ingredients

Scale

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough or biscuit dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (or regular pepperoni, chopped)
1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce, for dipping
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
  2. Roll out the pizza or biscuit dough and cut it into 8-10 equal squares or circles.
  3. Place about 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella and a few pieces of pepperoni in the center of each dough piece. Pull the dough edges up and over the filling, pinching tightly to seal.
  4. Place the filled dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture over each dough ball.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and add fresh basil or parsley if desired.
  8. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute the mini pepperoni with chopped regular-sized pepperoni if preferred.
  • For a spicier version, add some sliced jalapeños or drizzle hot sauce inside the dough.
  • Feel free to use other types of cheese like cheddar or provolone for a different flavor profile.
  • These pizza bombs can be stored in an airtight container and reheated in the oven for a few minutes.
